The Innovative Technology Center (ITC) at the University of Tennessee (UT) provides the resources and support for UT faculty, teaching assistants and academic staff in using effective technology in their teaching. In addition, we implement, maintain, and support Blackboard, UT's course management system. ITC is divided into several groups including visual design, instructional design and technical systems. Most of the projects we are involved in are collaborative works by these groups. The experience samples displayed on the next several pages are projects I have worked on as a member of the technical systems group and was either the project lead, lead technical person or the solo programmer. ITC provides service to all academic departments at UT, contributing to very diverse projects. No two are ever the same. But then, I have always enjoyed a challenge.
