Request: The UT Outreach and Continuing Education department was interested in
adding more professional certification programs to their offerings. ITC became
involved because of good past relationships with some of the staffers from both offices.
(2002)
Solution: A series of courses were developed that, when completed, a participant would
qualify for a Web Multimedia Developers Certificate. These courses were taught
in the evenings at the ITC teaching lab and were open to the public.
ITC staff were the instructors for these courses. I volunteered and
was selected to teach the second course on the "Basics of Developing for the Internet".
I developed the course outline, created the web pages and made them available online,
and taught the 5 weeks class.
This course is password protected to allow only those enrolled in the course access. You
are welcome to view the screen shots here.
